This training provides all the necessary skills to become a lifeguard certified for two (2) years. This lifeguard certification course is a blended learning class that combines online studying with an on-site skills session where you will practice and demonstrate competency. Participants MUST complete the online portion of the class before the first day of the on-site skills class.

• You must be 15 years old to obtain certification and must be able to attend the entire class.

• Participants must pass a 200-yard swim test (demonstrating 150 yards of freestyle and/or breaststroke, 2:00 water tread, followed by 50 yards of freestyle and/or breaststroke).

• A timed retrieval test.

• Timed water tread test.

• You will receive a hip pack, whistle, and breathing barrier.

Sessions will be at the Pleasant Valley Country Club, 1 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR 72212

Once your registration is complete, you will receive an email with details about the class. Please bring any snacks and lunch for both days.
